Wow things are moving very quickly!

Local Receptions.

We will hold receptions in the Walla Walla area and in Missouri for friends and family that are unable to attend the wedding on Orcas Island. The first will be September 13 and in the Walla Walla area. The second will be in Missouri around Thanksgiving. We’ll post more information about dates and times of those receptions.

Getting to Orcas.

If you will be catching a ferry the day of the wedding, a couple of quick notes. If you’ve never been to the San Juan’s before, definitely be aware that if you are driving on to the ferry, you will need to be in line at least 1.5 hours early during the summer time. If you are in a car and not there plenty early it’s very possible to miss a ferry because there are too many people in line ahead of you as we did on our way back from Orcas in March!

Walking onto the ferry can almost always be done, but will require transportation on the other end.  We will try to provide more information about that in the next few weeks.

We spent the weekend in Seattle and I was able to pow wow with a couple of my bridesmaids regarding various wedding details – both fun and productive!
